“Is it winter now?” That is what Delaney asked when she woke up yesterday to a blanket of snow on the ground. I would say it sure does feel like winter and a little too early like last year. Seeing the snow on the leaves of the tree in our yard is just wrong.

Snow on the leaves of trees is just wrong.

A great day to be off from school to mess around with a good friend.

Advent 2008

Today we started advent as a family. (Well, almost a family since Connor was still at a friends for a sleepover. Grandpa stood in for him.) We were the family that brought up the candle at mass to put in the Advent wreath. The reading for today, and the words that struck home were “watch and wait”. Meaning not to sit idle during this season but to actively do something during this time to prepare for Christ. What am I going to do… Not quite sure but for today I wrote about it in my new blog.
